practical coaching for gay men

You’re successful in a field that prizes toughness, certainty and performance — and you’ve learned to play the part well. But the cost is real: self‑censorship, vigilance, energy spent hiding parts of yourself that could actually help you thrive.

I support gay men working in science and engineering who want to grow professionally and feel more at ease in themselves. This isn’t therapy; it’s thoughtful, grounded coaching that recognises the pressures of identity while keeping a clear eye on your leadership, impact and wellbeing.

Who it’s for

  • Senior specialists and leaders who are questioning, or not out at work.

  • Men (gay or straight) who want to reduce self‑censorship and reclaim energy for career and life.

  • People who want to explore the dynamics of masculinity, success, safety and identity.

What we do

  • Regular one-to-one sessions, usually online.

  • Occasional short group intensives.

  • Leadership labs — practical sessions on topics such as communication, safe challenge, empowering teams, etc.

Outcomes

  • Greater ease and authenticity at work.

  • Tools to communicate confidently in ways that feel safe and appropriate.

  • A clearer sense of who you are and what you want — in life as well as work.

  • Greater confidence and more self-respect.
